In March 1966 Alfa Romeo homologated the small ATE front brake caliper and rotor by fitting a specific ATE adapter with 3" caliper bolt spacing to the existing Dunlop front uprights.

According to Patrick Dasse's Tipo 105 book, the small ATE front brakes were fitted during remaining 1966 Giulia Sprint GT production, and to Giulia Sprint GT Veloce production intermixed with Dunlop brakes until Dunlop stocks ran out in 1967.

This particular set was purchased for a GT Veloce project that did not go ahead. The small ATE caliper spacing is desirable as it is a viable replacement for concourse project cars in standard form and enables fitment of later lightweight Brembo alloy calipers from the Alfa GTV6 and 75 with either standard or vented rotors. These will clean up well ready for powdercoating and anodizing, with suspension and brake components available from all the usual online parts suppliers.

Price is $500 firm for the set. Pickup preferred but happy to post at buyer cost.
