Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knows how to remove the catch from the glass in the rear window so that is can be used in another piece of glass (or polycarbonate) as the case may be.

I thought it was threaded but it seems to be more complicated than that

Ok, its a T.I. Alfasud, that means 3 door, are you trying to remove back window or side windows at back?, Colin.

I don't quite follow what you are trying to do, you are replacing the glass with plastic, why do you want to remove the catch, is this the metal channel at the bottom of the glass, or is it the locking latch on the non wind down window in the back, Colin.

Pretty sure Southern75 is talking about the chrome button that goes through the glass on the side rear glass, and hooks to the latch.  I don't have my Sud here to check, but I think there is a small circlip on the inside.

Yes, that's exactly what I mean.

It's nice to have someone to better articulate your question.

Cheers  :)
