I have dealt with Totally Alfa, and his cam locks work good, but i get the impression he is a part timer and has a day job, he may have gone on holidays, he works in the aircraft industry, to change cam belt, you need inlet and exhaust cam lock, flywheel lock would be good, i have one, it called a big screwdriver rammed in the flywheel teeth, after taking off flywheel inspection plate, twin spark and JTS Fiat based motor cam lock tools are different, there was one of the Alfa ebay spare parts places in N.S.W. selling the cam locks on the ebay 156 site, but they were about twice the price of Totally Alfa, Colin.

For the cam lock tools, you could also try EB Spares and The Alfa Workshop in the UK, when you remove the valve cover to lock the cams, you will find it is best to put a new valve cover gasket in, this will be your chance to see if you have camshaft wear due to skipped oil changes, i purchased a universal type cam locking tool, that locks the cam pulleys together, not half as good as the cam locks made for Alfa Romeo's, Colin.

Have a look at Totally Alfa website, and you will see their good range of tools, haven't done the cam variator, so can't comment, done the balance belt, didn't need any special tools, important that belt is changed with the cam belt, as if it breaks, it will jamb up the cam belt and flip it off, causing engine failure, Colin.

Also, with the cam lock tools you need longer bolts for the cam locks, some list it, some don't, and also you will need a good range of Torx and Star tools to remove cam cover and Harmonic balancer pulley, a Serpentine belt remover is also good to have in your toolbox, much better than 'mongrelling' it off, Colin.
