On this day 100 years ago, Ugo Stella and his fellow investors took formal financial control of an expatriot French car company operating in Italy under the name Società Anonima Italiana Darracq and founded what we know today as Alfa Romeo.

In this forum little more needs to be said except -

Happy birthday Alfa. Long may you prosper.

Indeed a very Happy 100th Birthday Alfa Romeo.  Might just have to raise a glass to my Alfa's tonight, in celebration of their heritage, hopefully future, and all the wonderful, entertaining, thrilling, challenging and occasionally frustrating times I have experienced over the past 27 years of Alfa ownership.  ;D

For the Victorian members looking to share in the celebration for this weekend, why not join some of the Vic Alfisti's gathering at Colombo's Family Restaurant in Balwyn from 7pm to continue to celebrate Alfa Romeo's 100th Anniversary year.

As per the front page notice, call Colin Thomas now to book.

Bookings essential. RSVP June 24. Contact: Colin Thomas 9459 6061 (AH) and leave a message so Colin doesn't miss your call.

Come on, what else would you be doing on Saturday night?

Cheers
Neil
