recomend oil for 90- race car as bp corse plus not avail

hey im after a new oil for the race car as bp dont have the corse plus anymore and that was a great oil for it and i know that they have changed it to the castrol edge but i think it more of a synthetic now. as i know alot of you guys have the v6's some info will flow very quickly.
