Standard carbies on the 1.5 lt motor were twin 36 IDF's (1.7 lt has twin 40 IDF's). Check ebay for comparable carbies as is usually a set for sale.

If you have  a 33  you probably have  Dellortos  and  not Weber's.  You should be able to see the title on the carbs.  Drla's  for Dellortos  ,   ussualy 40's on  33  even in 1.3 models   because thats what  they had in stock .....

Both my 33 engined twin carb alfas have weber 36 IDF's. Says WEBER on both......

Strange .....  They used  , at least here in Europe, to install dellorto's  in 33's and late Sprints  because they had lower emissions and  better idle. Also they needed less  maintenance   than  weber's.

Re Carby's All of the 33's i have come across have had weber's the 1.5 litre have 36 IDF's and the 1.7 33's had 40IDF's, their is a left and right hand carby for corresponding banks, for the 1.5 litre, for the 95h.p. and 105h.p. the jetting is different and for the 1.7 the jets would be different for the various stages of tune, the only Dellorto's i have ever seen in Australia have been on private imports eg the 1.7 Sprints imported from New Zealand that were shoehorned with V-8's in Queensland, thats not to say Dellorto's didn't make it to Australia, i have just never seen any, i was told years ago, that Alfa did all the pollution tests on Weber's therefor only they complied, so thats what made it to Australia, Colin.
