GTV6 Torsion bar swap 30mm to 26mm

I have a GTV6 that I purchased 18 months ago that was set up for clubs prints but never raced due to the previous owner having a motorcycle accident. The car has a 30mm torsion bar and I am looking to swap it for a 26mm.
