Hi Folks,

New to this forum & is my first Alfa too!

I'd always wanted one of these cars ever since driving Peugeot's back in 2000
Nothing wrong with Pugs, quite liked them, but this car is a monster compared to the 306 I had at the time.
Wow! what a nice car to drive. Got my mojo back! Won't be returning to Peugeot's anytime soon, am definitely a convert.

With black satin vinyl car wrap from John at "Planet Wrap" at Murrarie Brisbane
Boston Speakers & amp for audio
and expert service from Baz at "On the Spot Alfa", I've got this car humming and catching attention wherever I roam.

Until I can afford a Giulia Quadrifoglio this is my car.

Big thx to Baz for his detailed and intricate assessment of a few issues I had, without him I would be clutching at other mechanics up on the coast who were devising the wrong faults and wasting my time.
Also cheers to this forum!!

Also thanks to the guys at Planet Wrap who worked on the wrap. Was 5 of them, and when I went to collect the car, they were all grinning from ear to ear.

Cheers,
Justin

Nice, actually looks really good in matte black!

So.... Wanna show us the "bad" bits?? What does inside the door jambs, boot and bonnet look like? Or was it a "doors off wrap"? I always wonder about how they leave those bits...

You should also check out a water based sidewall coating. Chemical guys make one which doesn't leave the tyres so shiny, just a nice satin black [Personal preference, I just like the 'as new' black look that satin finish has]. Lasted easily 3 weeks on my daily driver. The tyres just rinsed clean each week.
$12.95 for 470ml.

The finish was Satin black as opposed to Matt black.
I originally was after a matt but most people were pointing towards the satin with that extra lustre and shine.

Choosing a color was hard as I really liked the reds & aluminium blue. I originally wanted a 2 tone, but was talked out of it and we decided to stick with original color rims as opposed to the popular black wheels. So black & silver was the final choice.

In regards to jams and inner, we didn't do the whole thing, just the outside. Was a cost decision. We left the original silver color on bottom of the side mirrors to emphasise the original color inside the door jams etc.  Arlon Vinyl was the chosen wrap.

After a few weeks the vinyl is sitting well, just needs to be cleaned regularly, which I don't mind.

It's all personal preference what one likes.
