Club Drive from Melbourne to Lakes Entrance

Victorian Alfesta registrants,

For those attending the optional Alfesta dinner on Thursday 28 March in Lakes Entrance, an informal group drive to has been arranged to travel from Melbourne to Lakes Entrance.

The drive will start at the BP Servo Cnr Westernport Hwy and Thompsons Rd, Lyndhurst. (Melways) 128 K9.

Please be at the start at 8.30am for a 9.00am start (Swiss time, not Italian time).

We will travel mostly by back roads, avoiding the highway as much as possible.

From Lyndhurst we will travel to Leongatha for morning tea. Arriving at 10.30am. Depart 11.15am

Then we will head through the Strzelecki Ranges via Boolarra and Loy Yang to Rosedale, for lunch. Arriving at 12.45pm. Depart 2.15.

After lunch we will travel through Sale, Perry Bridge and Bengworden to Bairnsdale and then on to Lakes Entrance, arriving at 3.30pm.

Morning tea and lunch are at your own arrangements in Leongatha and Rosedale, respectively.

Route instructions and a GPX file for sat navs will be emailed to all participants.

NB: This drive is quite separate from the Drive from Ballarat to Lakes Entrance occurring on the same day.
They use different routes but will arrive in Lakes Entrance at about the same time.
