The Alfisti Spring Tour 2026

The Alfisti Spring Tour will run from the Murray in northern Victoria through NSW's Central West to the Warrumbungles, returning via Cowra.

'Forays with the stars' will track the astronomers, visiting a number of observatories by day (& night?) e.g. Parkes, Siding Spring & Mudgee while attempting to comprehend the vastness of the Solar System through the 'virtual solar system' exhibits scattered through the region.

A walk in the Warrumbungles to view the spectacular geomorphology and the wildflowers is also a must.

The Tour returns via Cowra to visit the stunning Japanese Gardens.

An optional excursion into the ACT to visit Mt Stromlo, Tidbinbilla, Honeysuckle Creek & Orroral Valley will complete the "Tour".
