Does anyone know what the standard Sat Nav is that can be ordered on a new 147 .... does it replace the existing CD unit and how much does it retail for ?

I guess it is also prudent to ask how good it is ...!

I don't know specifically about the 147 SatNav but typically its a separate unit with a separateDVD input. It may be in the boot, under a seat, in the glovebox or behind the unit itself. In Australia ALL manufacturers get their map info from Sensis. Its not very good and most of the car manufacturers are blueing about it. You'll find something like a TomTom map database to be more comprehensive. You'll also find that the car based systems want $300 - $700 per disk update. Sensis are supposed to issue annual updates, but every second year is common. The integrated car ones are convenient, but'we/ve been using a client's TomTOm recently and its very impressive - especially for the money.
