I was just having a interesting learning experience on the Alfa Bulliten Board about Alfa Romeo 164 oil cooler setups, found out there was a early setup and a later setup as far the 12 valve motors are concerned, how many 164 owners on the forum have a oil cooler setup?

I have had them with the early and later setup and some that have had the setup removed but i have also purchased quite a few private import 164s over the years so hard to remember which types were factory Australian delivered, here is a motor i currently have in my garage from a 1998 Hong Kong import, it was a 1992 164 V6 3.0 12 valve Automatic, this i have learned is the later oil cooler setup, also notice this motor has the serpentine belt setup not the normal groove belt, anyone in Australia have the serpentine accessory belt setup on their 164  ???

I am guessing the only factory delivered Australian models with the oil cooler setup will be the QV manual with the earlier setup, anyone know different?

Yeah, mines got one, makes it a pain to do the timing belt... but yes, as far as I know only the 164QV got them.
