Hi guys

Easter Saturday,Eastern Creek,,Group S cars were dirrected into the Scrutineering Bay after their race to check wheel widths and camber.
Interesting results.
Only allowed 6 inch rims and 2 degrees of negative camber.
Some cars had 7.5 inch wheels and 3.9 degress camber found.
A submission will be sent with recommendation of 3 degrees negative camber for Group S cars, but this is just rumour at the moment.
The results were given to the Group S elegibility.
No log books were marked, but will be in the future.
Cars will be checked in the future and possibly wheels will be marked for easier comliance.
Brake ducts,D-ports will also be checked, but their attachment is still being clarified.
Also light weight panels ,like fibreglass, carbon fibre, drilled and lightweight suspension components etc, etc, etc.
This goes for tongues,in inlet maifolds for ALL makes of cars. Not just Alfas.
Engine sealing is also on the ajenda.
For those cars that comply,,enjoy your motor racing.
For those that dont, you have been warned.

Interesting.

Hope the 3 degree gets up.  I cant afford to chew through a set of tyres every second meeting running 2 degrees  ::)

Hi Guys

Glad we have not had any responces to the above.

Means all our cars are legal.
Great to see.

Going through the CAMS spec sheets for our cars you cannot help noticing some mistakes. The 1750 Giulia is allowed a front sway bar, but the 1750 GTV is not. Have I missed something. Do we use the 1750 Giulia spec sheet or the 1750GTV . Mmmm ,this could be interesting at the next eligibility spot check. Will the real 1750 please stand up!!

Hi John.

That must be a typo.
All 105s came standard with a front sway bar,so its legal.
