Hi guys,

I'm half way through a brake pad change on my 33. My new pads i've just put in have 2 wires coming off them which I assume acts as a sensor indicating to the warning light when the pads are about to wear out.
However my old pads didn't have these and I cant find mention of them in the workshop manual, hence can't figure out where they should go if indeed they are intended to go anywhere.

So if anyone knows where these should go or if I should just cut them off I'd love the hear from you  :)

Cheers mate,

I just figured if there was somewhere pretty easy to plug them in I may as well.

I'll snip them off tomorrow, as you say they're not really nessesary.

Cheers,
Ben

Hi Ben ,

Just if you still haven't connected the sensor wires yet, just ask the guys at Mauceri Motors. There should be a wire with the connector plug (one for both sides) sitting around in the engine bay, unless they have been cut off.
se how you go

Gday Ben, all the initial advice was spot on. Dont worry about them as an early model like your 33 wagon doesn't have the sensor for brake pad wear. So, you're not going blind! It hasn't been cut off either...it never existed on your '85 Wagon!
