This car is part of the Lyon family's personal collection and is on display at the moment at their Air Museum at the John Wayne Airport here in Newport Beach.  It's a busy little airport with around 10 million passenger movements per year and this museum is located on the opposite side of the strip from the terminal complex.

From what I have been able to determine this example has been with the Lyon family for some years.  Others may know the details, either way it's lovely to see up close.  They really do have a wonderful shape.  1st Photo.....

And one more.

There were a bunch of other cars there as well, a couple of Dan Gurney's Indy cars.  He was a local and often seen at the Irvine C&C before it closed down in 2014.

Nice pics Alistair ....

TZ2 is one of my favourites, its such a lovely shape.

And from what I can see in photos quite a low car, height wise, if that makes sense!

Cheers,

Paul.
Speed costs money - how fast do you want to go?

For sure Paul, right 'up there' with the 33 Stradale.

Beautiful, thanks Alister. Do you know what the polished alloy plane above it is?
