Hello All,

The ever so popular Broadford is on again, 23 July.  Limited entry numbers so it will fill out fast so get your entry in early to avoid disappointment.

We're all set for Broadford.
Looking forward to another well organised and run AROCA Competition Day.
Being so close to Melbourne is such a bonus.  Great spectating and always great sprinting.

Nah Mick!  North of the Divide the weather will be perfect.  Bring up the deck chairs and sun cream!

Challenging conditions always reveal the better drivers.  Some of the wet driving at Winton recently has been brilliant.

Thanks Neil and team for another great event.

I was very impressed with my 1:11.39 in the final session.... alas a timing error I suspect - does not match up with Harrys or in-car video. My next best lap was 1:13.6981 in Session 10.

Thanks Matt,

What a brilliant day, mostly sunshine all day.  Finished just before the bad weather from Melbourne came.
Lots of runs, all had three sessions before lunch and at least 3 more after.  Most ran out puff and we finished early, ran out of cars.  Can't complain too much.  Wasn't even that cold.

Those to thank are:  Colin Edwards and Alan Morrison, who both did a great job as clerks of course.  Malcolm Powell, Mandy Thompson, Bruno Colautti and myself did all the 'on the ground' work.  John Rodda came up also to do flagging duties for his Bronze CAMS officials certification.  The usual flag marshals from Broadford helped tremendously.  Jackie and Phil from WAP motorsport were on hand for recovery.

All in all, a great day and lots of track time had by all.

Just wanted to thank all the organisers and competitors for an amazing day, ended the day with 60 timed laps plus the practice session was a great outcome - 1St trackday I needed to run to the servo in the afternoon for a bit more fuel.  If only tires would gain tread instead of destroying tread.

Yes, a great day with plenty of track time!

I spoke to quite a few competitors who were really enjoying the event.

ozclio03 – I am assuming that you were the blue car – i was impressed with your car and your driving.
If I wasn't so brand loyal I would be having a good look at a 182!

Lucky we didn't get the rain at the track that we experienced on the way home, it was absolutely bucketing down  :o

Cheers,
Al

Sure it's more the car - trick is to give it no mechanical sympathy!
