Hi all,

I'm restoring my 1968 105 GT Junior and am taking the interior bits to the upholstery bloke soon.
Does anyone have a good picture of a standard door trim? I'd like to make sure mine are original. I'd also be interested in buying a set of door trims if they're available in good condition.

Thanks,
Andrew

Hi, you can buy new repros from ClassicAlfa in UK, made by the same company that provided them new, seat covers too, beautifly made stuff, check their website, good value even with postage.OR, if you want to try, make the door cards yourself, pressed board from Bunnings, original vinyl by the metre from ClassicAlfa (and their pictures,)a jig saw and a staple gun,And some imagination! and then you can say "I dunnit myself"  I gotta say  myself.. my own door cards look stunning!!!! but then I would say that wouldn't I!!!     If all else fails, contact Pancho (this site), he might want your stuffed ones for spare shiny bits!           Cheers.........................

Google is our friend!  I heard someone on the BB say recently they were having trouble fitting the cards from Classic Alfa so maybe your approach is the best. I did the same sort of job on my 2000 GTV many years ago but reused the original material. Patience was my friend then...... :D

Andrew - if you need a centre console cover (the patterned vinyl one) I have one from a '69 junior spare.

I have a set of door cards in pretty fair condition, (not perfect) from a 1600 Junior that I got from a guy off this forum who was wrecking his car. I would be happy to let them go if somebody needed them.  I was going to use them for my 1750 GTV but on reflection i will get some new ones made, just as I did for my Giulia Super.  PM me if interested and I can provide photos.  Dave

Thank you all very much.
The picture of the door trim shows that my trim is missing a few bits (incl. the arm rest), and it screws in to the door (as opposed to being clipped in).
I'm happy to have a go at reupholstering mine, but it may be easier to get some good secondhand ones so I can work out how the clip on to the door.

Thanks for your help,
Andrew

I recently installed Classic Alfa door trims on my Duetto to replace the PO's plain home-made ones.  I was completely satisfied.  I bought the metal clips and the plastic inserts as well.
