Hello,
I believe my 1989 3.0 Bosch L-jetronic Air flow Meter has had it as my car is constantly running rich. Could be the O2 Sensor too. Does anybody have one of these for sale? I am looking for an AFM which hasnt been fiddled with. Does anybody have advice on these issues?
Current status of engine relating to running rich:
New Coolant sensor
New Hi/Flo air filter
new spark plugs
Advanced timing
Thermo time switch faulty- according to Bosch service manual. But this only operates the Cold Start injector. Could it be that the Cold start injector is constantly on thats causing strong fume smell? I doubt it because it takes a while for my car to start when cold which means Cold start injector doesnt work due to faulty thermo time switch
Many Thanks
Alex
