Title: Alfetta GTV Rear Spring Support Plates
Post by: michaeljc on October 23, 2012, 10:17:11 PM
I am reinstalling the rear de-dion assembly with new gearbox etc. but I would like to replace at least 2 of the 4 thin pressed plates that each end of the coil spring sit on. Two of mine have cracked open (as per photo below).

I am interested in some OK ones from a wreck or suggestions of a better mounting/seating material for the springs.

Lightweight items so postal of plates from anywhere in Oz sounds simple enough if anyone has some.

PM me if you can assist. ... Michael.

You can do without them. They don't do anything except make the car about a centimetre higher. I f you do want to keep them, cracked ones work perfectly well - mine have been cracked for 10 years.
