Hi Folks,
on the hunt for a twin spark head to suit my converted 105 TS engine. Current head is fine, but would like to build up a modified one in parallel.
Not 100% sure if the 164 twin spark head is the same as the 75, wiser cognoscenti might correct me on that ? :) Head will be stripped and rebuilt, so condition not important as long as it's a solid base (decent sealing surfaces - no cracks). Also require the short intake manifold that bolts directly to the head forming part of the water jacket.
Will consider a complete engine (or enough parts for one) - but as it's a teardown anyway, don't want to waste (or pay for) a 'good runner' - prefer to bring one back, if you know what I mean.
Cheers,
Scott.

Not sure about the 164 head (plumbing at the rear ?)
Isn't the head of choice the 155 - wouldn't cost to much to have one shipped shirley ?
some info and pics of 75, 164 and 155 heads here > http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/engine-conversions/44555-155-75-ts-heads.html (http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/engine-conversions/44555-155-75-ts-heads.html)
I've got the plenum and runners if you want - although that commits me to ITBs or Carbs (damn).
Thanks Craig - really interesting reading. The 155 head is a whole world of pain away from where I am at the moment :) Fascinating though.
Not after the runners etc, but thanks all the same. You won't need them either once you come over to the dark side of ITBs, COPs and MS3 ECU :)
Of course, if you want to grab a 155 head (or 2) and send it down.....
