Title: Alfa 75 Twin Spark value
Post by: cranberry on September 19, 2012, 11:34:32 PM
Hi folks,

I have a lead on a 75 Twin Spark in very good condition. The heater tap needs replacing but that's about it. It's done over 200,000 kms. Asking price is $3800. Is that a fair price or a bit rich?

Cheers

Hi,

I'll have a go at answering this....

Really hard to be definitve on the $$$ without knowing more about the car. General condition, will it be for the road or track?, money for RWC?, interior, body, tyres etc.

Don't under estimate the effort required to change the heater tap (they can be pricey new).

All things being "good" I reckon around the 3K mark would be OK (allowing for the heater tap).

More info and we could perhaps guide you further. I think good, fair priced 75 TS's are only going to get harder to find going forward.

Cheers,

Paul.

Depends what "very good" really means so it could be a bit over priced or a bit under but if it really is very good condition it sounds very reasonably priced - anything you spend on condition/recent word done etc up front is likely to save you $ overall.
