Title: Alfa 33 16v cv joints
Post by: 33racer on September 15, 2012, 09:37:41 PM
I just recently broke the outer cv joint on my alfa 33 16v. i went to change it with a spare one off a series 2 model and found that the earlier models had a large spline for where it joins the wheel hub and i cannot find any dimensions or new cv's for the 16v model anywhere. does anyone know what the spline dimensions are.

Regards
Steve

Try a Constant Velocity joint specialist, there is one on ebay in the Alfa 33 section, also, have a look on the Alfa 33 section off ebay for people wrecking 16 valvers, and also try Alfa Romeo Wreckers, you might be best to buy the whole driveshaft complete, as they can't be bothered seperating the c.v. joints off the shaft, Colin.
