Hi Everyone.
I'm thinking of importing a RHD Alfa from the UK. As I understand it, under the 'pre-89' rule there is no longer a need to have driven the car for a year prior to importation. Also import duty fees and the like seem fairly innocuous. Wondering whether anyone has recently undertaken the task of importing a vehicle and would be able to share any of their experiences and tips.
Thanks
Derek
Yes i would like to know the same, would love to get a 155 V6, would like to know the total cost, maybe we could share a container? :)
Lots of 155 V6s in NZ. It will be cheaper from there.
I've imported a car from NZ recently. Pre 89 is pretty easy, You just need to be prepared to pay all the costs. They add up.
