Title: Carbies rebuilder
Post by: Mr Frog on September 05, 2012, 05:19:05 PM
I am looking for a reputable Queensland business/person to rebuild my 1969 105 carbies. Any suggestions please (I have looked through the service providers pages).

I've used Auto Carbs and EFI Services at East Brisbane in the past and they've done a fantastic job.

Ph: 3391 2433 - 103 Norman St, East Brisbane

Cheers,

Brent

Thanks - was that for old 105 dellortos or something more modern?

That was for a 1983 double barrel carb from an FJ 45 Landcruiser. I bought the old cruiser from a farmer and the carb was completely rooted. I couldn't believe the difference the rebuild made.

In the next few weeks I'm sending them a set of 45 DCOE Webers to rebuild.

There is also a place on Robinson Road at Geebung that seemed to be alright for carbies (or at least the parts I was after for some) but hammer is speaking more from a rebuilding point so his place seems like a great place to go.
