Title: Door "winder" part identification
Post by: Polyal on August 23, 2012, 10:04:22 PM
Ok so I am fixing up both my doors and internals and I for the life of me cant find anywhere that sells the part that connects the inner handle to the "shaft".

If I was referring to the window operation I would say the window regulator..I have found those easy enough.

Both of my doors seem to have stripped the teeth on the shafts and thus dont open that well form the inside. Finding the interior handles also is not a problem.

Any links would be great, doesn't need to be based in AUS.

Thanks in advance...for a 74 GTV if that makes a difference.

you shouldn't have any trouble getting one second hand.  I would call it a door opening mechanism.  If you are in Queensland Richard Anderson (Avanti Spares ) would be likely to have one.  They are dirrent between 1750s and 2000s
