Have seen this car before with standard wheels though - Nice example
Osso Di Seppia anyone ?

I had the car checked out when it was a private sale a three weeks ago. I did not progress after report from Hugh.
I should add, it looks great and will likely be priced sharply.
Thanks Phil, it would be interesting to see the condition report from Shannons once uploaded.
Condition report now uploaded

I thought i'd seen this car before may have been sold previously by Shannons in 2006 as both Duetto's had the same
Vic rego HAV-966. http://www.shannons.com.au/auctions/lot/QEP3BR748DI18M2M
Note that the rego has now been blacked out on this latest ad.
Be interesting to see what it goes for if it is the same car.
Has it had a repaint since the 2006 photos?
Any other photos around, the Duetto voyeur in me wants to compare with my bits.
Hi,
This is the car Shannons auctioned in 2006. The condition report is accurate - Fair. The car is not RWC until significant rust reparation issues are first sorted in the chassis and floor pan. The car chassis number is incorrect on the Shannons website.
Cheers
Phil
The former owner would have to be happy with the auction result?:

Now I just feel sick. $38K!!! I sold my far-from-perfect Duetto some six years ago for under $10K........ Needed rust repairs at the front of both sills, but floors and the rest of the metal was sound. Add paint, replacement of the Alfetta seats, engine bay tidy-up and refit of crossover aircleaner duct, reshape of the nose bump and a few other minor trim parts and I'd still have had the price of my Suiper (which I also foolishly sold....).
yeah, that is a very solid price considering it has flaws. Looks like I will miss out on my duetto dream if this is the trend. Paul, where did your Super end up? Is it still down south. It was a very nice looking car.
I sold it to Adelaide. Buyer was fairly secretive. I don't believe he was necessarily and Alfista, but he did have some other interesting cars (Lotus Cortina etc).
Sounds like a high price for sure but given recent asking prices (and sales?) of Duetto's maybe not. I get that this one maybe needed work but there seems to be demand for certain cars and in these cases prices are trending up. The response to last weeks Giulia Super for example was amazing....I was the buyer and got a heap of calls! I wonder how many the seller got?....sounds like that car could have sold a few times over......my 2 cents.
EZ
There were two very committed potential owners...
One escaped pain. One will learn form the experience. Been there a few times myself so not being smug...
I have a period Ferrari/Aston owner in Qld looking for a sorted 2600 Sprint if anyone knows of one available.
Cheers
Phil
There's a decent looking 2600 Sprint on Justauto.com.au
Good spotting Dave. This was passed in at Shannons auction in July last year. The PPI is still on the net and makes for interesting reading. I am guessing the owner has rectified the issues...
