How does CAMS treat roll cages that were previously compliant?  (like an alloy cage in a certain yello car)?  ???

as long as it was continuously log booked no problems - new regs aren't retrospective.

I was under the impression they were talking about non log booked cars with roll cages. :-\

so what sort of time-frame before this proposal would be accepted?  How quickly do they proceed normally?

I'd like to express support for this initiative - Scott is it possible to send a note to Anthony Rodgers as this would resolve an outstanding question in our club.  Some form of 'release' would take the onus off the stewards to approve non-compliant cages, and would give our competitors a bit more confidence their car will be able to run.

I'll put our view forward - Phil since you know Tony - feel free to lend our support to the proposal - this has been an ignored issue for some time.
