Title: 164 workshop manual

hi all,

does anyone know where i can find a 164 workshop manual?!?
cant find one anywhere, need one asap as my i think my power steering hose has blown and would rather try change it myself rather than take it to the mechanic.
any suggestions?

Hello Stefan, have a look on the ebay 164, and you will most likely find one on CD, and you put it on your computer and print off what you need, they are only about $20, much cheaper than a hard copy, which i don't know if they actually made them, for the power steering hose, just put a container under the hose to catch all the power steering fluid that wiil leak out as you undo it, put a new one or good second hand hose on, fill up the  power steering reservoir, and start the car and top up the reservoir as the power steering fluid works its way through the system and displaces all the air, Colin.

You could take your leaking power steering hose to ENZED or PIRTEK, and they take the old fittings off and put a new hose in, sometimes quicker than stuffing around with new or second hand hoses, they will usually do it while you wait, when i put power steering in my 33, i just went there and told them how long the hose had to be, and here are the fittings, they were very helpfull, Colin.

sounds good, im going to milano spares tomorrow, if they dont have it i will definately check these guys out, thanks col.
