Title: Transaxles and Log Fires Tour
Post by: MD on May 31, 2012, 10:16:23 PM
If you are like me and enjoy the crisp winter days, beautiful mountain scenery and a curl up next to a warm log fire at the end of your journey, this event is for you. It helps to be a little bit crazy and spontaneous but it's not compulsory.

I am taking the GTV6 and a suitcase of long johns to join the Alpine Chapter in their week end of social activities and some Victorian alpine cruising on the week end of the 16&17 of June.

So if you are spontaneous, slightly twisted, love the cold and got tired of yet another week end of fish and chips at Wynnum, why not put some footy socks on before you slip the thongs on your feet and join me and the Alpine Chapter folks for a brilliant week end ? Bring your transaxle and give it an Italian tune up along the way !

The convener is Paul Edwards who can be contacted at paulgtvedwards@bigpond.com for more detailed information.

Have a blast Mike. It sounds like a ripper time there to be had.

I'm going for a bit of track work at Lakeside on the 16th.

Cheers,

Brent

I will be planning on making it for saturday lunch and staying over the weekend.  Paul's meetings and drives are well organised.

Really looking forward to it !

The tour dress code?

I wuz thinking I might have to wear a long sleeve shirt over my usual Jackie Howe blue singlet and shorts combo so as not to get a chill. I personally don't like wearing the footy socks with the thongs 'cause  the "camel toe look" is a bit goofey but if you guys think I'll need it to fight off the crispies, I'll do it just this once.

After all, a man's got a reputation to uphold... ;D ;D

Hahha wankski you are a twisted soul and I see your medication needs upgrading too.  :D

Rest assured I will be there and I will be more than happy to show you the shifter and explain the principles of how it works. Unfortunately because the mechanisms are all covered over to make it look pretty, you will not be able to see that unlike in my race cars. However I will bring some illustrations of it so that should help.
