Title: GTV 3L V6 Gearstick problems
Post by: ozmoz on March 22, 2012, 10:04:50 PM
The bush which secures the ball-end of the gearstick on my 2000 model GTV 3L V6 has disintegrated, causing the stick to flop around. I've also lost 5th and 6th gear! I've trying to find a replacement bush but no one seems to want to help. I contacted EB spares in the UK and they can only sell me one as part of a gearstick unit for around $200! Does anyone out there have a spare bush or know a dealer who can help?

Have you tried local Alfa service and parts providers ?

I know that Hugh at Monza Motors may be able to help as he mentioned that my 147 gear stick was a bit loose and to let him know to replace the bush or clip next time I was passing.

He is in Victoria but not sure what state you are in.

Thanks John, I'll give him a try - I'm in WA.

Have you tried Joe @ Cileberti's in Osborne Park or Leon @ Autodelta in Malaga?
