Title: WTB Drive Shaft Bolts
Post by: Duk on March 20, 2012, 10:17:46 AM
I'm after 4 rear drive shaft cap head bolts, the ones that hold the brake discs onto the output shafts of the diff.

Actually even 4 cylinder vs 6 isn't complicated enough for alfa - the early 4s had 10mm bolts live the V6s. Later alfettas and 75TS had 8mm... And I gather there ware variations (spacer or not) on the V6 - but don't take my word for it - I've only lost a small amount of hair over it - have not had to deal with all permutations.... Does mean I have some spare 8mms but that won't help you...

However see this thread on alfabb (http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/milano-75-1987-1989/192694-milano-rear-brake-disc-mounting-bolts.html) and in particular link to http://www.metricmcc.com/ and their part number #912 Fine pitch 10x1x30mm. I think for orders outside US you need to contact their German office - info on web site. I haven't used them (yet).
