Post by: WhiteAlfaGTV6 on March 07, 2012, 06:31:53 PM
Hi,

Is bead blasting the best way to clean/shine up a pair of oxidised cam covers on my GTV6?? Anybody suggest someone?

Blasting with Walnut Shell medium is a much gentler option than Bead Blasting. If you want to try it by hand yourself then the old labour intensive method of elbow grease and a mix of detergent  and pot scrubber is another way to go.Lets know the end result!lot of people read this stuff! Cheers.......Ian

Yeah. I did hear that. I spoke to a bead blaster who put me on to these guys http://www.brisbanepartscleaning.com.au/page-1.htm
also known as Soda Strip I think. They sell the equipment as well as do some work. I'll let y'all know how it went and the cost.....
