Title: 156's at Centre rd. wreckers
Post by: colcol on December 29, 2011, 12:51:40 PM
Hello fellow 156 owners, just went down to Centre road wreckers to scrounge some Commodore bits and i noticed there were 2 156's there, both series 1, one a V-6 and the other one a twin spark, still have motors, one is a selespeed, still lots of bits on them, please support the Alfa wreckers that support the club, but Centre road wreckers are open all weekend that suits me and it keeps the price of Alfa Romeo used bits down, Colin.

Breathing life into this old thread.
I was down at Centre Road Wreckers today (renamed to Imlachs). Despite the guy at the desk saying they didn't have any Alfas, I found 3 156's right down the back in the Euro Graveyard. All of them still had decent parts and there is one in particular which has a Monza black with red stitching leather interior (a bit dusty but would lovely once tidied up).
Just remember to bring your tools and overalls.
