Has anyone had a look at these 1750 GTV's for sale by the same owner? Seem to be reasonably priced but have been for sale for some time now.
Only concerned with the state of the bodywork - mechanicals are not an issue.

I've asked myself the same thing. This guy has a number of cars listed on car sales. Thought about giving him a call to ask about the maroon car (notice the lemon spider in the background of the main photo).
Rob, I had a look at these cars with a mate of mine who was looking to buy one (subsequently has).
He is in Tullamarine before the airport, and has more - a sort of back yard dealer. The cars presented superficaially OK, but you would need to check them out properly - preferably on a hoist.
We felt that at the asking price, we could probably do better elsewhere, which is what happened.

I think fortunately for those that love 105 series Alfas, they present as very good buying. When compared to some other cars of the same era they are exceptionally good value!
I wonder when the Australian market will start to acknowledge just how great these cars are? ???
As it stands, you could but a very nice step nose as a garage princess + a cracking 1750GTV for some regular driving + a spider for those warm summer nights or sunny winter-springs days and have not only a garage be full of iconic Italian beauties but you'll have some change left in your pocket because you didn't but that overweight GT Falcon or GTS Monaro !
