Title: Novitec Performance Kits
Post by: diglad on November 05, 2011, 03:16:04 PM
Anyone had any experience with these?
http://de.novitec.nl/webshop/en/alfa%2Dromeo/performance%2Dkits/

I have a couple of questions:
1) Are they easy to install?
2) Do they void the manufacturer's warranty?

1] Don't know, 2] Yes most likely, they most likely work by fooling the engine managment into thinking its still cold, then the engine computer richens up the mixture for more power and emisions, but the air cleaner for the 156 JTS i liked, instead of it taking an hour to change the air cleaner element, i think it would take all of five minutes, maybe wait till your car is out of warranty and then try it, and don't forget, Alfa would spend bucket loads of money developing engines and associated parts, why would  someone else know more than what they do?, Colin.
