Title: FS: Few bits off 1984 2.0L GTV
Post by: michaeljc on October 10, 2011, 08:53:59 PM
I have a few spares that came with a car I bought a few days ago and I do not need them. I have not inspected the parts very closely but can do so if anyone has detailed questions.

a)   2 off 5 stud GTV6 discs. I have not measured thickness yet.

b)   Air conditioning system - as far as I know it is everything out of the engine bay - brackets / pulleys / compressor / Receiver Tank / Hoses. I am told it was all working before it was removed.

c)   Tow bar complete with all bolts and metal plate for inside the boot.

d)    External rubber trim strips that go along the side of the car. I have not really inspected them closely but I think they are all there and in OK condition.

e)    LH & RH front indicator lenses with very minor cracks, complete with plastic screws

f)     Steering wheel switch set complete with the 3 stalks. All feel OK for operation but I suppose something was wrong for it to be replaced.

g)    Set of Rola Roof racks

I am in Nunawading and you can PM me if you have any questions at all, need photos of parts or are interested to inspect / buy.

Bump

All parts still available ..... probably free to good homes ...... if they can find homes.

Air con is complete with radiator / compressor / hoses / etc ....... I'm told mounting bracket may be great solid bracket for supercharger project.

Tow bar is getting in my way .... Hopefully of some use to someone.

It would be great if the carbon footprint of the manufacture of these items was put to better use than being relegated to scrap metal.

Could you pencil me in for the 'Steering wheel switch set and stalks' please?  Our shitbox Alfetta has a few issues, I'll check whether these are the same, or can be used.  Will be in touch asap.

Have added some picks of external door trim. Now I've had closer look I am not exactly what it is all from. Irrespective ... it is here if anyone wants it

Dimensions are: 2 off (LH & RH) 1520mm long at top / 1505 at bottom (due to angle at one end)
2 off (LH & RH) 1164mm long (chamfer at one end)
1 off 162mm long at top / 142 at bottom (due to angle at one end)
1 off 156mm long at top / 132 at bottom (due to angle at one end)
