3 Brand spanking and unopened 5 litre bottles of Castrol Edge Sport 10W-60. It was going to be used for my 156 TwinSpark, until Wankski told me I should be using 10W-40. I believe this oil is the spec for the v6.
The lot for $120.00 - pickup from Elsternwick, Melbourne. Please PM me.
Might be off topic but i always use 10W-60 in my 156 TS. Owners manual recommends 10W-40 for regular driving and 10W-60 for sport driving.
I hav only ever used 10W-60 and find there is no oil burn so i'm not going to change to a different grade.
Hi ANG156.
The 2.0TS oil spec is around 15cSt @ 100 degrees. I'm told that the 10W-60 has a spec of around 25cSt at this temperature and may be a little too viscous for the TS . If your 156 is like mine, it doesn't consume any oil using a good 10W-40, it will have better cold start protection, and you might even squeeze out a few more horses.
