Why doesn't Tony Longhurst just do the right thing and go and ask daddy for some money, say $200 and buy Allan Grice a single carb 33 of ebay and present it to him, after all Gricey spent 10 years in Queensland Parliment as a National party representative, so he wouldn't have much of a pension, he must be doing it tough, living on baked beans, if i remember rightly Allan Grice's Alfasud was prepared in Victoria by Alfa City, down in Peel st. west Melbourne, where it was looked after by Rod Makepeace, its a long time since the prize a single carb 33 would have been worth $11,000, must have been at the end of 1984, Colin.

Ahhhh , Those where the days Mike Raymond " National Party Pie Champion" weighting in at a cosy 140kg and still able to do motorsport commentary. Love that red jacket.

Oh yes, don't you miss wrestling commentator Mike Raymond commentating on motor racing, [no not in a million years!], Crompton and Skaife are just so much better, and Mr. Gulliver, enough of the fat jokes about Mike Raymond, as most rotund men, he is very sexy, [Mike Raymond lookalike], Colin.

I knew about the case, refer to my comments in a previous Alfasud thread:

Can't say that I've ever seen this tv footage before.

Oh, and in case you didn't know, Grice won the case and Longhurst had to pay back the value of the 33 (as sold in 84 and not saleable value in 96...) plus interest.

Well, he could afford it...  ;D
