Title: Drive shaft balancing
Post by: Craig_m67 on August 13, 2011, 05:35:20 PM
Hej oop

Can anybody recommend a shop in Brisbane to do balance/reco the driveshaft(s) on my Duetto.  I need to replace the middle bearing and guibos etc, may as well have the whole thing checked and done whilst it's out.

Perhaps a diff shop? Thinking of putting in an Alfaholics LSD.. Two birds one stone and all that  ;D

Cheers
Craig

I have yet to find any outlets  that can correctly balance a single or two piece shaft in Brisbane.

are about on par with any. You will probably need to supply your own Alfa couplings. The centre bearing should be OK to be supplied by them.
