Title: Giulia Super 3D Model WIP
Post by: ItalCarGuy on July 05, 2011, 05:52:13 PM
Thought some of you might be interested in the 3D model I was working on in my lunchbreaks. (I'm an architectural illustrator so I felt like working on something with a few more curves)

Its coming along now. Needs a fair bit of work on the rear end still.

Derek,

I don't know if you know this but during its hey day the Giulia Super was a car of choice for many architects..the reason is self evident.

Being only in my mid 30's I never knew this first hand, but a colleague's father who is a German architect in his late 60's said they were very popular over in Germany amongst the architects as well. As well as having the coolness factor, they were innovative in design for their time, agreed.

When I grew up in the 70's my parents had a Super for 5 years and our closest family friend who was an architecht also had one as well so I guess it rings true.
