Title: Ball joints and tie rods
Post by: colcol on June 11, 2011, 12:44:55 PM
Whenever you have a wheel alingment done or any suspension work, if you are not carefull you seem to split the tie rod or ball joint rubbers, these are not available as a seperate part, so you have to buy a new part, which you don't want, just the rubbers, for years i used to use Holden Gemini 75-84 boots, as they were available seperate and seemed to work ok on Suds and 33's, but now they are getting hard to get as parts dry up, but recently i discovered that you can buy generic tie rod and ball joint rubbers from REPCO, that suit a wide variety of cars and importantly Alfa Romeo models, not only Suds and 33's, Colin.
