Try a 75 mechanism, the doors are the same, very lazy alfa engineers ;)

Doors are very expensive to develop so using carry over Giulietta doors would of represented a huge cost saving for the 75, and as Gully says Alfa at the time - not much cash

How much costa dis one ?

Sorry Storm - off topic, if you get stuck try Milano wreckers thay were wrecking an Alfetta GCL recently maybe the door motors are similar, mate that model had electric motors for everything - trust me  ;)

Have you tried testing yours, or re lubricating it ?

i put a new style motor from my old 2.0 84 giulietta and the bolts didnt line up , well two out of the three did and it worked for awhile but not seizes up. so now i need one from a 83 1.8 door.
