Well, all I can say is I've only had one thing go wrong with my Alfa in 4 years of ownership...admittedly it cost me $5k to fix...

A satisfaction survey is quite interesting. It does not specifically have anything to do with how good or bad the car may be.

I drive an old Falcon for work. It never breaks down. However its a horrible car and I hate it. It gives me no satisfaction what so ever. I far prefer my Alfa Romeo that cost more to run and is far less practical.

That's a completely fair point Steve. However, if you have a look at the criteria that JD Power uses you'll see it takes quite a rounded approach to assessing customer satisfaction, not just whether it breaks down or not. Or at least, it did last time I looked at the survey in detail 6 or 7 years ago.

Glad to hear you prefer your Alfa to your Falcon though  ;D
