Title: Incorrect machining on twin spark
Post by: colcol on April 03, 2011, 05:57:29 PM
In the recent Age car guide's review of the Alfa Romeo 156, it was stated that the early 156 twin sparks had a machining fault in the engine that caused oil starvation, as this engine was used in the earlier 155, that was not sold in Australia, you would think all the bugs would have been hit on the head, 5 years down the track, has anybody heard of this story before or is it made up by your mate down the pub who knew a bloke who was a Alfa Romeo mechanic?, please tell, Colin.
