Perth club member 17 year old Daniel Ricciardo recently finished with a pair of 5th places in the opening round of the Formula BMW Asia series at the Malaysian GP. Despite a very limited car racing background, (only a single Formula Ford outing at Sandown last year) he shows great promise.
Alfa Club members wish him luck for the rest of the series, (despite it being BMW!).
Just 6 years later and he already has 2 wins under his belt !!!
