Title: Sump guard for 147
Post by: alfagtv100 (Biggus) on March 05, 2011, 10:10:29 PM
Hi all,

Does anyone know if a sump guard for the 147 is available?

Cheers,

Marco.

Not sure if the 147 is different from the 156, or the correlation between the TS and V6 due to design and fitments.

I got quoted anything from $250 to stories about special Italian imports required at a cost of $1250 plus.

Went to Italian Job and they have an after market one for a TS/JTS.  It was slightly different but suitable and bolted straight on with no issues at all.  I think it may be an 'aftermarket' under tray.  Was about $350 fitted straight on.

I will be going back there sometime for one for my 147 TS as with lowered suspension the undertray is attached with the usual array of cable ties - not a long term solution.

If it is V6 GTA, not sure (and assume it is a bit different) but Stuart made a few for his 156 GTA.
