For alfettatassie ...
Quotei have tried to send e mail to other members in club but with no luck,i am a learner with sending e mails.I own a 1981 alfetta sedan which i have only owned for a few months but have known the car since 1999 when my father purchased it, being a retired mechanic my father has done all the mechanical work to make it a very reliable and fun car to drive.when dad purchased alfa it had 113,000 on the clock and now has 180,000.bodywork is really good for the age of the car as is the interior.compliance plate on te car is australian and dated 6-1981.I have written to the alfa factory in italy and found out that she was built on the 29th february 1980 and left italy on 21st march the same year.couldnt find out what ship she came out on r which port/city she came to.now i am trying to find out the ownership history.it is white in colour no fitted extras except for factory fitted sunroof, hope someone out there in alfa world finds this interesting cheers richard (alfetta tassie)

Sorry I don't have any information regarding your Alfetta, but wanted to say welcome to the forum! Hope you can click through to this thread and hit the button marked 'reply'.
Are you actually in Tasmania? The only suggestion I could make is to contact the 116 register captain with your VIN or chassis number and see if the Vic club has ever had it in the register.
You can send Shane an email from here: http://www.alfaclubvic.org.au/content/view/156/74/
Hey Richard
Glad to see you made it on. I only found out the dates of manufacture and sale for my GTV6, but in some cases they can tel you the dealership that ordered the car.
I know in Victoria Vic Roads will give you the reg history of a car for a fee so you may be able to track it that way via Tassie Roads or whatever they are called.
Once again great to see some input fro you on the Forum and hope to see more.
Catch ya
Shane
Service Tas http://www.service.tas.gov.au/ is our registration authority, not sure if they track owners etc. but worth a try.
Can't say I've ever seen a white sedan in Hobart area, but could be wrong!

Just really quickly re this, I can certainly recall a number of different model Alfetta sedans in white, including early series 1/2, Series 2 and a Sportivo. All of these cars were owned at some point by various friends or people I knew. To the best of my knowledge though all of these cars have met their maker over the years.
Here's a picture of vehicle in question ...
