Title: ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Post by: johnnyc on January 22, 2011, 02:52:24 PM

Dear all,

I own a 3.0 75 and am considering various mods to the car. I have looked at any number of forums and threads in regards the different management systems out there and am interested to know if any one has used a particular brand and can tell me how it worked on their car and what sort of cost was involved. my car runs the l jet set up but from what I have read it is antiquated and there are better systems available, but at this stage I dont know what is the best set up for my alfa. any input is appreciated.

cheers, john

Tell us your budget goals for the car.
If money is not an issue Motec or Autronic.

the car is a long term project. i dont plan on selling it now I have it. my first car was a 33. I then picked up a gtv6 which i had for a few years. I cut my teeth on alfas as a kid when my father drove them, so the passion never left. money is not an object.

im sure any resonable brand of ecu will do a great job, as long as it has local support.
in this case, haltech or autronic would be your best bet  ;)
