I'm interested in buying a pair of V6 extractors from Vince at PACE Engineering but i have never actually seen what they look like (the 4cyl ones i have seen look excellent).
Does anyone run these extractors? Do they also come with downpipes?
If anyone has a picture of what they look like that would be great!
From your queries on other thread regarding 24v V6 engines, are you asking about V6 extractors for 12v or 24v?
Vin makes excellent 12v extractors, but I don't believe makes 24v extractors. The latter have oval shaped exhaust port.
and what do you mean by downpipes?

Sorry should have clarified... this is for a 12V engine. Would love to see pics... the off-the-shelf CSC extractors look "nice" but arent really the best design, just a stainless steel copy of the SZ items.

Also refered to as collectors, which typically include flex pipes before they join the centre section under the car.
Thanks Choderboy, they look like equal length? They are tempting but not cheap! $900.00... but you get what you pay for.
Can get a full CSC system with extractors, collectors, flex pipes, middle section and rear section for around $1200 landed but i'm not sure if the quality is there, anyone run the full CSC system?

$900 is cheap!!!! Try getting some custom ones built by someone who knows what they're doing....!
Yes i once had a custom turbo manifold made up and it cost around $1200 from memory :o
I'm not saying $900 is a bad price, i was contemplating if the CSC system is comparable... you get the complete CSC system, extractors to tail pipe delivered to your door for an extra $300 over the cost of the extractors only from Pace.
But yeah not sure on the Italian made CSC quality, i know the Pace stuff is all good from what iv'e heard.
But yeah, should keep the money in Australia anyways... problem solved ;)
This is them. Unfortunately these have been wrapped in tape and the top sections need re-making so they're awaiting attention.

So, is that 900 or so dollars for all the pipes we see in Scott's photo or just the first sections that come off the engine?
I had a set on my 75 when i bought it but I've removed them since and had them ceramic coated. Compared to the standard headers they sound quite tinny but the ceramic coating help with that. Most significantly though it decreased the engine bay temperature! The car would always run hot but after I coated these it made a huge difference. Didn't notice a performance gain though..
Great pics, the cermaic coating looks fantastic, would you mind me asking how much it set you back?
The standard Alfa extractors flow pretty well for a stock engine, you really need cams and compression to make the most out of the Pace items but man they look hot! And probably sound great too...
