Title: Vehicle original history, is it possible to trace???
Post by: VeeSix on November 08, 2010, 06:37:04 AM
I have a decent collection of my favourite Alfa Romeo models GTV6, 90, 75 and 164, about half of them came with original manuals and sales brochures etc but the other half did not, i was just wondering if running on the vehicles ZAR number, is there somewhere a site or register or something similar that you can go to find out your vehicles original history, when and where it arrived in Australia, what dealership sold it etc, is this information available readily anywhere? does anyone know?
I would love to know where some of mine were sold from originally.  :)

You can start by emailling Marco at the Alfa document centre (marco.fazio at alfaromeo.com), he should be able to tell you manu. date, colour & possibly delivery to Aus. from your ZAR#.

Marco was really helpful with my car, but I was also luck I had original paperwork and service history. My car has been owned by two doctors and a pleb, probably explains the condition it's in!
